With the continuous improvement of the level of science and technology, human beings are more and more involved in the field of space, all kinds of artificial satellites and spacecraft have come into being, and the conductive slip ring mainly refers to the use of various energy components for the transmission of signals and electricity for the equipment in the spacecraft, this kind of conductive slip ring is quite different from the working environment used on the ground due to the space environment. 1. The use environment is different, when the spacecraft is still on the bottom surface, its environmental conditions are the same as the environment of the general aviation aircraft, but once it enters the orbit, the environment is different, in the universe, the entire spacecraft is close to the vacuum conditions, at this time, the friction coefficient between the electrical contact materials, the level of electrical noise and the conditions for generating arcs are obviously different from the atmospheric environment, and the derating should be considered in the design.
2. When the spacecraft flies in space, it is in the condition of complete weightlessness, so the abrasive debris generated by the friction between the conductive ring and the brush is suspended in space, which will lead to the reduction of the insulation resistance of the conductive slip ring, and even cause a short circuit.
3. Due to the installation of space conductive slip rings in space vehicles, the current equipment is becoming smaller and more precise, and the installation space restrictions of conductive slip rings are harsh. Therefore, the volume and weight requirements for the combiner ring are very strict.
4. From launch to orbit, it must withstand large shock and vibration. Therefore, the rigidity of the entire structure of the slip ring is required to be very high.
5. Some space confluence rings need to work for 10-20 years, or even longer, such as communication satellites. Since maintenance and repair are not possible in a vacuum environment, slip rings used in these spaces need to be maintenance-free.
